It hasn’t been mentioned much lately in the cyber log– regarding the Siamerican Wanderer’s goals and ambitions to return to University, as he has thoughtfully and patiently been waiting for the waves of ‘distant visions’ to vibrate in sync with ‘current reality.’ And so now, the present of reality has seen the Wanderer gracefully clear one of the initial hurdles in his goal path: The Siamerican is officially registered for classes–tuition payed and new student identification card received for Communication Arts Department of Bangkok University, for the second semester of 2007 academic year, which commences January 2008.

None the less, after a long sleepless two days, everything is looking good. The six classes that were registered include:
1. Modern Presentation Techniques (Powerpoint 101)
2. Critical Reading
3. Media Communication
4. College Writing
5. Marketing Communication
6. Statistics for Social Sciences
…of which will be studied mostly on the Afternoons from Monday through Thursday, with morning classes on Wednesday and Saturday–unless of course the University makes last minute changes–not impossible.

The Siamerican Wanderer expects the classes to be of minimal difficulty as far as material comprehension, though does not infer or intend to underestimate the power of hefty work loads and difficult, righteous instructors–the Siamerican is prepared for the worst and hopes for the best. As far as maintaining a high GPA, this is not of priority anymore since it is clear he won’t be able to recieve any direct scholarship aid from the University due to anal policies. However, it is still ideal to atleast keep the GPA above 3.0 which shouldn’t be too difficult as long as the Wanderer shows up to most of the classes and devotes adequate preparation to exams.
And How about these vivid dreams you ask?
First one was several days back. The Wanderer was wandering around somewhere in the northern hemisphere lost in the webs of subconsciousness before being attacked by a snake who managed to bite his arm inflicting cuts before being shredded to pieces by the Wanderer’s bare hands. Upon quick research, the Siamerican Wanderer found out that the dream could have meaning regarding a major transition in life…hmmmm, not that the Wanderer is heavily superstious, but some of the interpretations seems to be logicals–see for yourself here, and also here
Another unrelated, and bizarre yet interesting dream the other night involved witnessing several continuous super-novas occurring in the night sky continuously and simultaneously–as the vast web of stars gradually expired before the Wanderer’s eyes, an eerie feeling fogged–wandering if/when our own son would join the hundreds if not thousands of stars in their instant natural expiration… Still not sure what the subconscious mind was intending to relay here, but certainly a first of such kind of a dream that the Siamerican can recall.
Well, the Siamerican Wanderer sure is looking forward to more dreams at this moment. For in the last 38 hours, the Wanderer has accumulated some 2 hours of sleep. To make a long story short, after work on Tuesday, the Wanderer set off to Bangkok on his bike. As soon as he arrived, his friend insisted on meeting up at another friend’s house for a few drinks. Reluctantly, the Wanderer went and ended up pulling an all-nighter drinking coca cola and singing karaoke as his friends got wasted off of whiskey and beer–several dropped bottles, glasses, and cigarettes the Wanderer soberly observed. The following morning (today) the Siamerican Wanderer persevered and suppressed his kicking-in inner urges to lie down for some zzzzz, though thankful that he chose to lay off of the heavy drinking the previous night. Now 90 kilometers later back in Samut Songkhram after a fortunately safe drive back, he has earned a peaceful night of atleast 8 hours of regeneration and rejuvination–with that, goodnight!
